British Artist in Tuscany
Romanos Moukarzel (b.1965 Lebanon) completed a Foundation course at the Sir John Cass School of Art followed by a BA in Liberal Arts at Manhattanville College, New York. He then moved to Florence, Italy, to study the traditional methods of painting and drawing at the Cecil-Graves Studio. In 1991, he returned to London and his painting studio in Chelsea. Twenty years later, he relocated to Tuscany, where he now lives with his native wife and son.
His work is found in many private collections internationally, particularly in the UK and the Middle East.
Romanos Moukarzel (nato nel 1965 in Libano) ha completato un Foundation course alla Sir John Cass School of Art di Londra, seguito da una laurea in arti liberali presso il Manhattanville College di New York. Si è poi trasferito a Firenze per studiare i metodi tradizionali di pittura e disegno presso lo Studio Cecil-Graves. Nel 1991 è tornato a Londra e al suo studio di pittura a Chelsea. Vent'anni dopo si è trasferito in Toscana, dove ora vive con il figlio e la moglie nativa di Prato. Qui hanno avviato e gestiscono insieme il loro studio d'arte, il Cedar Tree Art Studio.
Il suo lavoro si trova in molte collezioni private a livello internazionale, in particolare nel Regno Unito e nel Medio Oriente.
